Hybrid ActivFeed and ActivFeed Direct

 

In many instances, combinations of ActivFeed and ActivFeed Direct platforms can offer a practical approach to glboal content delivery. The result is a blend of direct-feed and consolidated feed delivery through a single API interface.

The diagram below pictures a consolidated ActivFeed delivery from the ACTIV datacenter(s) in orange being combined with direct exchange feeds into a consolidated delivery. This model is often used to deliver local feeds with very low-latency while importing "away markets" via a highly-compressed multicast stream from ACTIV's datacenters.
