APIs are the programmers' interface to ACTIV's technology.

Our available APIs are:

ActivFeed API
Our lightweight market data subscription API is available in C++ with Java, .NET and COM bindings; and gives uniform access to all types of market data, including current prices, time-series, fundamental data and news.

ActivContentServer API
This C++ API supports high-bandwidth subscription to our multicast streams directly from our Downstream Content Server devices.

ActivServerContribution API
This C++ API supports high-bandwidth contribution of in-house data into the ACTIV Content Platform.  Contributed data integrates seamlessly with information sourced from ActivFeed Direct and ActivFeed and is accessed using the ActivFeed API.  Publishing rates well in excess of 100,000 records per second are supported.

ActivClientContribution API
This C++ API supports wide-area contribution (over TCP) of in-house into the ACTIV Content Platform.  Contributed data integrates seamlessly with information sourced from ActivFeed Direct and ActivFeed and is accessed using the ActivFeed API or ActivContentServer API.

ActivMiddleware API
This C++ API offers access to the underpinning messaging and databasing technology and other low-level components used throughout ACTIV's product range.
