In fact, Hosted ActivFeed Direct requires no equipment on your site, only an Ethernet connection to ACTIV's racks.

The systemic latency of Hosted ActivFeed Direct is identical to that of a direct-feed infrastructure...because it utilizes exactly the same direct-feed technologies. The only additional latency you might experience is any transport latency between ACTIV's racks and yours. And that transport latency ismeasured at the speed of light through glass, which inside a metro-area is often quite small. However many of ACTIV's proximity centers also offer hosting services, either within your own cage, or in many cases ACTIV offers hosting services within our racks.
